Classical Pilates & Garuda

The classical Pilates movement series as originally created by Joseph Pilates on it’s own or combined with Garuda Pilates, which is a hybrid of yoga and Pilates designed by James D’silva. 

Classical Pilates refers to the original system of exercises and principles developed by Joseph Pilates. Joseph Pilates, a German-born fitness enthusiast, created this method in the early 20th century. Classical Pilates consists of a series of exercises designed to improve physical strength, flexibility, balance, and overall well-being. It emphasises the mind-body connection, breath control, and precision of movement.

Garuda is a hybrid of Pilates and Yoga that Increases strength, flexibility, coordination and endurance, with a greater sense of ease and well-being. Garuda offers a cardiovascular workout while drawing deeply on mental focus and teaching the sacred principle of relaxation within movement. The result is a stronger, leaner body, improved posture and true ease of both movement and mind.
