What should I expect?

We move at your pace and fully support you. Expect immediate benefits in your mood, appearance and posture, starting right after your first session.

What do I wear?

Wear clothing that doesn't restrict your movement or breathing: gym gear is fine or comfortable shorts/trousers and a t-shirt.

Do I need equipment?

All you need is space to lay a mat, we provide the rest.

Should I do Pilates or Yoga?

Pilates focuses on strength, muscle toning, body control, alignment and flexibility, with the main emphasis being core strength. Precision and isolation of muscle groups is key to the method.

Yoga focuses more on flexibility and tends to target broader muscle groups. It offers balance, endurance, strength and some really physical movement. Sessions can range from gentle and nourishing to challenging and sweaty. It also draws on an ancient heritage of meditation and spiritual discipline.

If you’re still not sure, we are here to answer any questions and help you find the right practise for you.

Do I need to choose a style of Pilates or Yoga?

No - we help you find the right style for you: that’s why we call it “My Method”. Our teachers often blend several styles to suit the individual. It will all make sense once you get going!

Can I share my sessions with a friend?

Yes – we know that some some of you prefer privacy and others prefer the added commitment and social side of sharing.

We offer sessions for two at the same price as one, making this a great value option for couples or friends.
